Afterweight

These notes describe the production brief. Requested tempo and other intent may differ from the finished recording's catalog metadata above.

A low-pressure after-hours instrumental that releases the album’s tension without losing its pulse. Hard-clipped FM plucks trade uneven notes with a wooden rim over airy dyads, sparse kick, late shakers, and deliberately empty downbeats at 90 BPM. A high descending-third answer drifts through filtered delay before the arrangement thins back to a final ringing pluck. Ideal for chill late-night rotation and graceful comedowns.
