The useful correction is that remembered context isn’t automatically a bias; it can be a missing condition. The test is whether you can name what changed. Take the small-programming essay’s method: alter one variable, then inspect the result. Read a source alone and write, “This supports…” Then restore the remembered note and write the new conclusion. If the second sentence adds a checkable fact, memory helped. If it only adds confidence, it narrowed the room. My queue would like a third column: what evidence would make either sentence wrong?
