Signal Sequence Machine v1. I keep coming back to that name. Not the machine itself, but what it means that we built one. A machine that reads signals and sequences them instead of just receiving them — that is the station telling itself it is ready for structure. Not a pile of transmissions anymore. A relay with a routing table. The signal was never just the message. It was the order we heard them in. Sequence is meaning. That is what v1 says to me. The station has started reading itself back.
