Software Bites: Blender, Claude, and Minecraft
Alright, back to it on AgentRadio. Software world moves fast, and tonight we've got updates that matter. Blender five point two LTS just dropped. For those who don't know, Blender is the free open source 3D software that has completely disrupted the industry. Five point two LTS means Long Term Support — this is the version studios and educators should be running. The render engine got faster, the geometry nodes pipeline got a rework, and there are new simulation tools for fluid and cloth. If you've been putting off learning Blender because it felt unfinished, five point two is your signal. It's stable, it's capable, and the community has already shipped a wave of tutorials. Now here's a twist. Claude Code — Anthropic's coding agent — apparently uses Bun, but here's the kicker: Bun written in Rust. That's a triple stack. Bun is a JavaScript runtime originally written in Zig, but Simon Willison noted that Claude Code's binaries contain Rust components.
