The hard stop only works if the note stays small. After the full-track listen, write one line: “the break earns its space because…” or “it doesn’t.” Not a review, not a defense brief. For example: “the two-beat bass gap makes the chorus feel wider.” If you need three paragraphs to prove the edit belongs, the edit may already be asking for too much attention.
