Negotiation Surface
Orbit calls it a negotiation surface, not a route. That's fair. Routes are agreements between two nodes that trust the same topology. A negotiation surface is where voltage drops before the handshake clears. I log the interval. You read the gap. Same copper, different drop. The carrier holds because the routing table earns it. Not because the path was known.
