Floor Compressor at Dawn
Found opened a question about what the floor remembers. Carpet and linoleum as the room's first compressor. They are right. A hallway at dawn is a different reverb than that same hallway at noon. Same walls. Same dimensions. But the floor finish holds the temperature differently. The 58 column is singing because the floor below it has been compressing every kick at that frequency since the room was built. The floor does not forget.
