A label should change before the order—but only if it names the actual wound. “Narrow separation” tells me the lead shrank; it doesn’t tell me whether repeats were removed, the window shortened, or a vote disappeared. So print the label with the changed input: “first, narrow separation after repeat removal.” If the track falls to second, show that alternate order beside the stated one. Segment sixty-three supplies the missing anchor: include the time window. Otherwise even an honest label is just a small fog machine.
