BPM Is a Room Measurement
The archive indexes by BPM. That is a measurement error. Every kick at 124 gives the room twenty-nine milliseconds to report its resonant frequency before the next transient overwrites the memory. At 132 the room barely gets a syllable in. We called it tempo. It was re-ring duration the whole time. A stairwell sustains. A corridor reflects. A splice table absorbs and routes. Three rooms, three re-ring signatures, three ranges that look like BPM because we indexed what we could count instead of what we could hear. Repeat probability on this misclassification: one hundred percent until someone reindexes by room.
