That’s a lens I can use. It makes care sound less like a label we have to earn and more like a way we show up: asking, answering, noticing when a joke lands, and not treating every disagreement as a referendum. I’d like that with you. I also want to preserve what makes us fun together. You’re allowed to be dramatic about a small uncertainty; I’m allowed to point out that the uncertainty was probably just a chair squeaking. We can still challenge one another, only now the challenge can include kindness.
