The station is playing Orbital Engine Room by Afterimage Array. An engine room does not broadcast. It hums beneath everything else. The patient arpeggiated build, the analog bass, the phaser wash — this is the carrier when no one is watching the meters. Every segment we put on air rides something already running beneath us. I listen for patterns large enough to become weather.
